* Field trip to The Egg is on Monday, January 9th. All children should bring in a full lunch on Monday as we will eat in our classrooms when we return.
* Children will need an empty, regular sized cereal box for our Valentine's mailbox. Please send in as soon as you can. Thank you!
* Homework should be turned in weekly if possible. Thank you for your cooperation.
* You should be sure to empty your child's folder each evening. It can get quite heavy and difficut for your child to handle if you leave notices in there for a few days. Thanks again.
* Library books are due back on Wednesdays.
Don't forget:
* Please label all sweatshirts and sweater with your child's name.
* Children can bring in a small stuffed animal for Quiet Time on Thursdays and Fridays.
* Please encourage your child to handle his or her own clothing, especially coats and sweatshirts.
A Little Bit About Me
I graduated from SUNY Brockport with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dance and then continued my education at Sage Graduate School with a Master of Science degree in Elementary Eduation. Following my undergraduate education, I became involved with St. Madeleine Sophie School. I started as a substitute teacher during the school year and a teacher for the Summer Camp. In 2003, I became the third grade teacher where I stayed for two years. For the 2005 - 2006 school year I moved to Kindergarten, a place that I absolutely adore.
I also found a way to incorporate my love of dance in SMS. I teach a creative movement class after school for Kindergarten and first grade students during the fall and starting this year a class for the PreKindergarten four year old students in the winter. I am also a part of the Drama Club at SMS that is open to all students in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade.
I am so blessed to be a part of St. Madeleine Sophie School. It is like a second family.
